Rusia transferirá a Nicaragua tecnología de una de sus vacunas contra el COVID-19, adelantó el lunes uno de los investigadores del país euroasiático que participa en el simposio binacional Rusia- Nicaragua «El mundo después de la pandemia».
El científico ruso recordó que el Instituto Latinoamericano de Biotecnología Mechnikov, inaugurado en Managua a fines de 2016, representa una potente entidad en el rubro de la farmacéutica y destacó su experiencia en la fabricación de la vacuna antigripal.
Trukhin adelantó que en el marco del VI Congreso Internacional Farmacéutico, a celebrarse en la capital nicaragüense los días 20 y 21 de octubre, un representante de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) impartirá una ponencia enfocada en la transferencia de tecnología microbiológica.
El gerente general del Instituto Latinoamericano de Biotecnología Mechnikov, el ruso Stanislav Uiba, resaltó que Nicaragua es un país fabricante de productos inmunobiológicos, lo cual atrae la atención de otras naciones en todo el mundo.
