El Ministerio de Salud Pública notificó este domingo 30 nuevos casos de covid-19 en República Dominicana, 19 menos que los 49 registrados en la víspera.
Indicó que entre las 9:00 de la mañana del viernes e igual hora del sábado fueron procesadas 2,513 pruebas que detectaron 3 contagios en el Distrito Nacional, 1 en la provincia Santo Domingo, 7 en Santiago, 5 en María Trinidad Sánchez, 5 Samaná, 5 en Puerto Plata, 3 en la Altagracia y 1 en La Vega.
Detalló que en el país hay 131 casos activos y que 573,703 personas se han recuperado de la enfermedad.
El total de muertos por covid-19 en el país es de 4,375, el 23.13% de los cuales era hipertenso y el 14.47% diabético.
Entre los infectados hay 2,300 trabajadores de la salud, 1,831 embarazadas y 67,020 menores de 20 años.
En República Dominicana hay disponibilidad de 2,373 camas para pacientes de COVID, 109 de las cuales (5%) están ocupadas.
Hay 585 camas en unidades de cuidados intensivos, 20 de ellas ocupadas (3%). De 469 ventiladores disponibles en la red hospitalaria, 19 están ocupados (4%).
