Twitter ha actualizado su política de privacidad y ha informado este lunes que a partir de ahora queda prohibida tanto la amenaza de exposición como la publicación de información privada de otras personas, como números de teléfono, direcciones e identificaciones sin su consentimiento.
Asimismo, el comunicado señala que tampoco podrán compartirse, sin el permiso de la persona a la que pertenecen, medios personales, como imágenes o videos, ya que se puede «potencialmente violar su privacidad» y «provocarle daños emocionales o físicos».
La compañía especifica que dicha política «no se aplica a los medios que presentan figuras públicas o individuos cuando los medios y el texto del tuit que los acompaña se comparten en interés público o agregan valor al discurso público».
