El Partido de la Causa Operaria de Brasil (PCO) manifestó su «apoyo total» a Rusia en el conflicto con Ucrania.
En un comunicado en sus redes sociales, la formación expresó su «apoyo total a Rusia» y criticó a otras formaciones de la izquierda brasileña que manifestaron su solidaridad con el Gobierno de Ucrania.
En opinión del Partido, la acción militar especial de Rusia en Ucrania busca «liquidar el imperialismo de la Organización del Tratado del Atlántico Norte (OTAN)» y acabar con las milicias nazis en Ucrania.
En este sentido, manifestó su apoyo a la protección de las «repúblicas de Donbass» de los ataques nazis.
El partido también afirmó que el «actual Gobierno ucraniano es una dictadura imperalista» contra el pueblo.
El PCO también se mostró de acuerdo con la postura de China de acusar al Gobierno de Joe Biden de convertir a los ucranianos en «carne de cañón».
El PCO es un partido minoritario y sin representación parlamentaria en Brasil.
