Una joven británica de 18 años fue atacada por un cocodrilo mientras hacía rafting con sus amigos en el río Zambeze, en Zambia, al sur de África. Por su parte, el padre de la víctima, Brent Osborn-Smith, expresó: «El cocodrilo vio su pierna colgando en el agua y pensó: ‘Hay almuerzo'». «Está en bastante mal estado en este momento», continuó el hombre, quien agregó que la intención es trasladarla al Reino Unido, pero «con una mordedura de cocodrilo hay un enorme riesgo de infección y tiene una pierna bastante dañada».
