El viceministro de Política Exterior Bilateral de la República Dominicana, José Julio Gómez, llegó a Moscú en una visita de tres días en la que va a sostener negociaciones con la Cancillería rusa y otras instituciones públicas y privadas con miras a estrechar la relación bilateral con Rusia.
En una entrevista concedida a Sputnik, Julio Gómez señaló que llega a Rusia en representación del canciller dominicano, Roberto Álvarez, invitado por el ministro de Exteriores ruso, Serguéi Lavrov.
«Vengo para realizar una agenda bilateral con la Cancillería rusa y con diferentes instituciones. La idea que vamos a trabajar acá es sobre varios aspectos fundamentales», dijo Gómez.
El vicecanciller señaló que la República Dominicana y Rusia tienen 12 acuerdos en negociación «que abarcan temas judiciales, temas relativos al Ministerio de Agricultura, temas de energía, temas de cooperación en el ámbito cultural, otros temas relativos a la cooperación en los aspectos de servicios aéreos y también en asuntos deportivos», especificó.
En sus reuniones en Moscú, indicó, va a examinar la cooperación con Rusia sobre las cuestiones mencionadas, así como la colaboración comercial, turista y educativa.
