Decenas de miles de manifestantes han salido nuevamente a las calles de toda Francia para protestar contra el plan del Gobierno sobre la reforma de las pensiones, que incluyen un impulso para extender la edad de jubilación de 62 a los 64 años.
Los sindicatos esperan realizar una importante manifestación este sábado y por fin hacer oír su voz ante las autoridades que impulsan la reforma en el Parlamento.
Según fuentes policiales, citadas por el diario Le Monde, se espera la participación de entre 600.000 y 800.000 personas, entre 90.000 y 120.000 de ellas solo en París. Además, se informa que se movilizarán 10.000 agentes de las fuerzas del orden en toda Francia, 4.500 de ellos en la capital. Por su parte, el sindicato Confederación General del Trabajo (CGT) ya ha informado de 100.000 manifestantes en la ciudad de Toulouse.
Los ocho principales sindicatos franceses también han dicho que están dispuestos a «paralizar Francia en todos los sectores el 7 de marzo» si el Gobierno y el Parlamento «siguen haciendo oídos sordos a la protesta popular».
