Will Smith ha sido por varios años el rostro de Bad Boys (Policías rebeldes) junto a su compañero Martin Lawrence. La primera parte de la película fue lanzada 1995, la segunda en 2003 y la tercera en el 2020. Ahora, a inicios de este año el también actor de Rey Richard (film con el que ganó el Oscar) anunció en redes sociales que él y su colega volverán a la acción en la gran pantalla gracias a la cuarta entrega de la franquicia.
El largometraje aún no cuenta con un título oficial, pero se confirmó que está en las primeras fases de preproducción en el estudio Sony Pictures. Además, los directores de la tercera parte, Adil El Arbi y Bilall Fallah también regresarán a trabajar de forma conjunta, según adelantó Deadline.
Aún se desconoce información detallada sobre la trama de Bad Boys 4, pero, lo que sí es seguro es que Smith y Lawrence regresarán interpretando a los detectives Mike Lowrey y Marcus Burnett, respectivamente, en sus nuevas aventuras en Miami.
