El líder del Frente de Resistencia Nacional de Afganistán, Ahmad Masud, enumeró este domingo en su cuenta de Facebook una serie de exigencias para poner fin a los combates en la provincia de Panshir, al tiempo que dijo estar comprometido con la resolución del conflicto con los talibanes de modo pacífico.
En el escrito Masud destaca que el Frente de Resistencia Nacional está dispuesto a detener la guerra inmediatamente para lograr una paz duradera, siempre que los talibanes detengan sus ataques y operaciones militares en Panshir y Andarab. También esperamos llevar a cabo una reunión exhaustiva con académicos y reformistas.
El líder de la resistencia explicó que «la población de Afganistán es mayoritariamente musulmana», por lo que «no hay ninguna razón religiosa, humana o lógica para que los talibanes que afirman luchar por el establecimiento de un sistema islámico en Panshir, Andarab, Parwan, Kapisa u otras partes del país» realicen operaciones militares en estas regiones.
