Previamente, el portavoz del Ministerio de Defensa de Rusia, Ígor Konashénkov, denunció que las medidas que están tomando las autoridades de Ucrania para involucrar a la población civil en actividades militares, provocarán «inevitablemente pérdidas humanas».
Kiev ha repartido «en masa y sin control a los habitantes de las localidades ucranianas armas automáticas, lanzagranadas y municiones», advirtió Konashénkov, instando a la población a «demostrar conciencia» y «no someterse a sí mismos y sus seres queridos a sufrimientos».
Además, los nacionalistas ucranianos han desplegado armas pesadas en barrios residenciales de diferentes ciudades. «El liderazgo de Ucrania declaró repetidamente que no se escuda en la población civil y no despliega medios de fuego pesados en las ciudades. Esta mentira descarada puede tener unas consecuencias graves», afirmó Konashénkov.
