República Dominicana.- Aunque las autoridades sanitarias llevan más de una semana interviniendo La Zurza por el cólera, ayer intensificaron la búsqueda de casos sospechosos de la enfermedad.
Esto así, luego de que el pasado miércoles Salud Pública notificara dos nuevos casos, sumando ocho a esa comunidad de la capital y un total de 10 a nivel nacional.

Desde este jueves, las brigadas acuden casa por casa en ese sector, con el fin de captar casos de la enfermedad generada por la bacteria Vibrio cholerae.
Según el doctor Máximo Canela de Gestión de Riesgo del ministerio, la situación en La Zurza, lugar en los márgenes del río Isabela, el cual está contaminado en algunos puntos, se encuentra bajo control.
