República Dominicana. – El presidente del Consejo de Desarrollo Económico y Social de Santo Domingo (Codessd), Samuel Sena planteó la eliminación del foam, luego de considerar que es uno de los materiales dañinos que más afecta el medioambiente.
La idea surge, a raíz de una publicación de la cañada de Cuesta Hermosa llena de este material.
“Luego del diluvio que costó vidas y pérdidas materiales, miren como se encuentra nuevamente la cañada en Arroyo Hondo. El foam es uno de los materiales dañinos que más afecta al medio ambiente en estos momentos”, señaló el presidente de Codessd en su cuenta de Twitter, al pie de una foto de la cañada antes mencionada.
Además, señaló que es necesario tomar medidas urgentes para detener el grave problema, que representa la proliferación sin ningún tipo de controles de dicho material.
