República Dominicana.- La Asociación Dominicana de Profesores (ADP), respondió que los incentivos económicos «son un derecho, no un regalo» luego de que el ministro de Educación Ángel Hernández exigiera a los docentes y administrativos mayores resultados de aprendizaje por los beneficios obtenidos.
«Durante el año 2022 los docentes recibieron RD$16,716 millones por incentivos y los administrativos 1790, en otras palabras, los docentes recibieron 9.39 veces más recursos. En ambos casos se debe exigir mayores resultados de aprendizaje por los beneficios que se reciben«, advirtió el funcionario.
Planteamiento que motivó la reacción del presidente de la ADP Eduardo Hidalgo, en su cuenta de Twitter.
«Estamos de acuerdo en exigir más resultados al sistema educativo. Sin embargo, el 70% de los factores asociados a los resultados educativos depende de la calidad en la gestión ministerial, no de los incentivos económicos a los docentes, los cuales son un derecho, no un regalo», sentenció.
Se recuerda que este año el Ministerio de Educación de la República Dominicana realizará la Evaluación de Desempeño 2023, para la que ha designado una comisión.
