El alcalde de Lajeado do Bugre, un municipio del estado brasileño de Río Grande do Sul, fue asesinado a balazos este jueves en el interior de su oficina, informó el diario O Globo.
Roberto Maciel, del Partido Progresistas (PP), fue atacado poco antes del mediodía cuando se encontraba reunido con un chofer de la Secretaría de Salud Municipal, según detalló la Brigada Militar.

En el hecho, un encapuchado ingresó al recinto y les disparó en varias ocasiones. Maciel, de 45 años, murió, mientras que el empleado municipal resultó herido y fue trasladado en estado grave a un hospital de la zona.
Testigos dijeron que el hombre que disparó habría salido del ayuntamiento a bordo de un automóvil.
