La Oficina Nacional de Meteorología pronosticó para este domingo la continuación de aguaceros asociados a una vaguada ubicada al Sur de República Dominicana.
En ese sentido, ONAMET informó la incidencia de campos nubosos acompañados de precipitaciones, que en ocasiones podrían ser moderadas a fuertes con tronadas y aisladas ráfagas de viento sobre varias localidades del país.
Asimismo, destacó que las lluvias seguirán extendiéndose gradualmente durante el transcurso del día hacia otros poblados de las regiones noreste, sureste, (incluyendo el Gran Santo Domingo), el norte y la Cordillera Central.
Además, reitero las provincias que el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias mantiene bajo alertas meteorológicas por posibles crecidas de ríos, arroyos y cañadas, así como inundaciones repentinas o urbanas.
En ese orden indicó que bajo alerta verde permanecen Monte Plata, Hermanas Mirabal, Sánchez Ramírez, El Seibo, Santiago, San Cristóbal, La Vega, Samaná, Duarte, Monseñor Nouel y María Trinidad Sánchez Espaillat.
