El presidente de Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, ha declarado la un día de luto oficial en la isla a causa del fallecimiento de la reina Isabel II de Inglaterra, muerta el jueves a los 96 en el Palacio de Balmoral, en Escocia.
El Ministerio de Exteriores cubano ha señalado en su cuenta en la red social Twitter que la decisión de Díaz-Canel estará en vigor hasta la medianoche de este viernes (hora local) «con motivo del fallecimiento de Su Majestad, la reina Isabel II, reina de Reino Unido de Gran Bretaña e Irlanda del Norte».
