Diez personas resultaron heridas la madrugada de este lunes en un accidente de tráfico registrado en la zona centro-norte de la capital ecuatoriana, Quito, según el Servicio Integrado de Seguridad (ECU 911).
A las 03:15 hora local (05:15 GMT), una llamada a la línea de emergencia 911, anunció que, en el cantón Quito, en la avenida Antonio José de Sucre y Mariana de Jesús se produjo un siniestro de tránsito de un autobús interprovincial.

Desde la sala de operaciones del ECU 911 Quito, se organizó el personal de primera respuesta del Cuerpo de Bomberos Quito (CBQ), Ministerio de Salud Pública (MSP), Cruz Roja Ecuatoriana (CRE), Agencia Metropolitana de Tránsito AMT (AMT), entre otros.
