Alejandro Astesiano, jefe de la custodia del presidente de Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou, fue detenido en las últimas horas por la Policía, que lo acusa de falsificación de documentos, informó el periódico local El Observador.
Astesiano fue arrestado a pedido de una fiscal y será indagado en el marco de la investigación de una banda que presuntamente elaboraba pasaportes falsos para que sus titulares accedieran a la ciudadanía uruguaya.

La noticia dejó «sorprendido» al mandatario, quien dijo desconocer las razones del arresto y de momento descartó retirar de su cargo al subalterno.
