El estatal Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE) informó que el desempleo en Uruguay fue de 7% en el último mes de año, es decir que bajó levemente si se tiene en cuenta que en noviembre fue de 7,4%.
«En diciembre de 2021 para el total país, la tasa de actividad se situó en 62,0%, la tasa de empleo en 57,7% y la tasa de desempleo en 7,0%», detalla el reporte.
La tasa de desempleo, que mide las personas desocupadas respecto de la Población Económicamente Activa (PEA), bajó un 0,4% en diciembre.
El porcentaje de desempleo de diciembre corresponde a 126.000 personas.
