El presidente de Brasil, Jair Bolsonaro, afirmó este miércoles que la compañía estatal Petrobras «no colabora con nada», por lo que, si fuera por él, «podría ser privatizada hoy».
En medio de la subida internacional del precio de los combustibles por el conflicto entre Rusia y Ucrania, la firma reajustó sus precios el pasado 11 de marzo, llevando el litro de gasolina o diésel en algunas terminales a 8 reales (1,57 dólares) en el surtidor.
«Cualquier nuevo aumento va a desencadenar, de nuestra parte, un proceso para que este ajuste no llegue al final de la línea para el consumidor», dijo el mandatario en entrevista con la cadena de televisión SBT. Y añadió que el precio actual de este insumo clave resulta hoy «impagable» en Brasil.
«Mucha gente me critica, como si tuviera poderes sobre Petrobras, no tengo poderes sobre Petrobras. Para mí es una empresa que se podría privatizar hoy, estaría libre de este problema», aseguró Bolsonaro.
