Un tribunal iraní ha condenado a una pareja de jóvenes de 21 y 22 años a diez años y medio de prisión por publicar en redes sociales un video bailando en la plaza Azadi -plaza de la Libertad-, en el centro de Teherán. Ella no llevaba velo.
La Sección 15 del Tribunal Revolucionario de Teherán considera que Amir Ahmadi y su pareja, Astiaj Haghighi, son culpables de los delitos de “fomento de la corrupción” y “conspiración contra la seguridad nacional y para difundir propaganda” contra la República Islámica, según recoge el portal de noticias iraní en el exilio IranWire.
La sentencia, con fecha del 29 de enero, prohíbe además a los acusados tener actividad en Internet y salir de Irán durante dos años después de que cumplan sus condenas.
Las mujeres tienen prohibido bailar en la calle y el caso es aún más grave por el hecho de hacerlo con un hombre, aunque sea, como en este caso, su prometido.
