Grandes celebraciones comenzaron este jueves en el Reino Unido, dedicadas al 70º aniversario del acceso al trono de la reina Isabel II. Con el motivo de la fecha, un gran desfile tiene lugar en Londres, donde decenas de miles de personas han salido a las calles para felicitar a la monarca.
Isabel II es la primera monarca en la historia británica en celebrar el Jubileo de Platino de acceso al trono. Se convirtió en reina a los 25 años, el 6 de febrero de 1952, tras la muerte de su padre, el rey Jorge VI.
