Asociaciones de suplidores de alimentos escolares anunciaron la suspensión del servicio en todas las escuelas públicas del país este jueves y viernes, debido a la crisis económica que les afecta por atrasos en los pagos del Instituto Nacional de Bienestar Estudiantil (Inabie), entre otros reclamos.
En un comunicado piden la intervención del presidente Luis Abinader “para evitar el colapso del programa de alimentación escolar”.
«Por la experiencia que tenemos en estas faenas, sabemos que sólo la intervención del presidente de la República evitará que el programa de alimentos escolares caiga en una pendiente enjabonada que podría concluir en el colapso del mismo”, señala.
Añade que luego de esa suspensión, cada suplidor serviría sólo en la medida en que pueda financiarse.
Según los presidentes, de Asociación De Suplidores Y Proveedores De Alimentos A Las Escuelas De República Dominicana, (Asupliderd), Francisco Capellán; de Unión Nacional De Suplidores De Almuerzo Escolar, (Unsae), Marino Peralta y de la Asociación De Suplidores De Tanda Extendida De Barahona, (Asosateba), Francisco Vargas, pese a múltiples gestiones ante el Inabie y el Ministerio de Educación sus reclamos de pago no han sido atendidos, dice.
Tampoco les ha sido entregado el anticipo, tal cual prevé la ley de Mypimes 340-06, agrega.
No han recibido aumento “razonable” del precio de las raciones, “lo que hace insostenible el servicio debido a los aumentos que han experimentado los productos alimenticios en los últimos años”, expone.
Los suplidores llaman a todos sus colegas a rechazar “cualquier sugerencia de algún director de escuela que plantee recibirles menos raciones de las que tienen asignadas”.
