Representantes del Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro y de la oposición de Venezuela acordaron celebrar una nueva ronda de conversaciones entre el 3 y el 6 de septiembre, según se desprende de un comunicado difundido en Twitter por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Noruega, país que ejerce como mediador en el diálogo.
Las partes también confirmaron haber «sostenido reuniones constructivas» los días 14 y 15 de agosto e informaron «haber discutido el establecimiento de un mecanismo de consulta con actores políticos y sociales que sea lo más incluyente posible».
Este viernes en México se inició la primera ronda de diálogo entre voceros del Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro y representantes del sector radical de la oposición. Las partes firmaron un memorando de entendimiento para confirmar su disposición al diálogo.
Las conversaciones contaron con la participación de Jorge Rodríguez (representando al Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro), Gerardo Blyde (jefe de la delegación opositora de la Plataforma Unitaria de Venezuela) y los mediadores Marcelo Ebrard (canciller de México) y Dag Nylander, del Centro Noruego para la Resolución de Conflictos.
