La Dirección General de Epidemiolgía (Digepi), informó que los municipios Los Hidalgos de Puerto Plata, Jánico de Santiago, Mella de la provincia Independencia, San Gregorio de Nigua y Sabana Grande de Palenque de San Cristóbal y Guayacanes de San Pedro de Macorís, son los seis puntos del país con mayor tasa de positividad actualmente.
En una rueda de prensa, este miércoles, el director Ronald Skewes indicó que el hecho de que tengamos muchos municipios con positividad alta es algo que se debe reducir porque puede en cualquier momento producir brotes y situaciones complicadas.
Skewes, señaló que la cuarta parte de los municipios del país registran una positividad por encima del 20 %, cuando la meta es tenerla por debajo del 8 %.
En cambio, destacó que en la mayoría de las provincias la tendencia de la positividad se mantiene a la baja.
Señaló que el Distrito Nacional tiene casi cinco semanas registrando una baja en la positividad.
